Overall purpose aka the grand scheme of things.
To create an online equivalent of a gardening journal which can be shared in part or entirety with other folks who sign up as a garden ‘journaller’ or even as an interested party.
I am planning to use an ‘open source’ social community/network out of the box application to do this unless someone can point me in the direction of either someone to create a custom online app or a public sharing journaling application.
Additionally, I hope to have a ‘crop swapping’ capability where in folks in a reasonable distance of one another might wish to trade produce or seeds or seedlings etc.
I would also like to have an online blog capability in order to allow users to post gardening articles that can be shared online.
