January 19, 2021 - Received Lasko MyHeat 200 watt heater  - cost $20. Tried it in greenhouse and raised temp about 5 degrees in 30 minutes as temp outside dropping. Then let it run and it mostly maintained and then started to drop as temp dropped more suddenly outside.

Pulled thermometer out after emptying green house to avoid freezing batteries. Worked at least down to 29 degrees

February 17, 2021 - Temps above freezing after noon and rain. Probably freeze during night.

February 17, 2021 - Lots of tomato plant wilting ....leaves thin and wispy...a couple died. A few kneeled over. Made splint for some but not hopeful

February 17, 2021 - CRADLE J CUC(25) about 10 slightly spindly but still thick. First hint of first leaves. All are the Sir Crunch A Lot hybrids - Not a single Muncher has germinated.

February 20, 2021 - Potted up again about 6 tomatoes from 4" to 6". Major seedling problems. Many have gone limp, many have yellowing leaves and white spots. Sat them outside in sun for a few hours but temps in the 50s. Sat some in the greenhouse for a few hours. Not much rallying noted. Lost about 7 to main stems breaking.

February 21, 2021 - Sunned a few more seedlings. No improvement

February 23, 2021 - Sunned most seedlings. Potted up 4 ore from 4" to 6". Some minor improvement noticed but still losing seedlings daily. Opinions i Louisiana Edibles seem to run that it was light deprivation, salt accumulation and overwatering. Left 5 pots in greenhouse overnight with temps getting down to 40. 

February 24, 2021 - Took most seedlings out for sun although cloudy day. Going to leave most in greenhouse over night. Lows in mid 50s. Should be hard enough. Some are rallying but many are till brittel and drooping.

March 25, 2021 - I have missed several days of updating. To catch up I have expanded the pallets as walkways and added a second pallet by the gate. My Friend SW took me to Lowes to get 6 foot Tee Posts. I bought 6 at about $7 per and $6 worth (50ft) of laundry cord for a Florida Weave. I have made a two foot up Florida Weave on two rows of Indeterminate tomatoes (Rutgers and Red Cherries)

March 29, 2021 - Numerous tomato buds, blossoms and fruit spotted.

April 2, 2021 - Cold temps to 39 and high winds. Killed or damaged most cucumbers on sled by patio. Moved them inside. Covered tomatoes on sled other side of greenhouse with plastic sheeting. Covered cucumbers on other side of greenhouse with plastic sheeting. Both did fine. Moved peppers and eggplants inside after first night. They wilted and looked dead but came back. Several Straight Eight cucumbers died.

April 6, 2021 - Purchased 6 large rebar type landscape staples. Drove them into ground over greenhouse frame.Cost $20

April 8, 2021 - Installed drip irrigation system with timer for 20 containers.Raindrip kit $32.00
